Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services that support patient care and clinical outcomes. You will drive strategic initiatives, manage teams, and collaborate across departments to enhance imaging capabilities and patient experiences. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage the imaging services department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to advance imaging technologies and service delivery. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency within the imaging services. - You will collaborate with clinical leaders to integrate imaging services into patient care pathways. - You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, staff development, and patient-centered care. - You will ensure the maintenance and upgrade of imaging equipment and technology. - You will manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for imaging supplies and services. - You will analyze performance data to identify opportunities for service enhancement and cost reduction. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare imaging services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. - You have experience with regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and quality assurance in imaging. - You demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. - You hold a relevant degree in healthcare administration, radiologic technology, or a related field. - You are proficient in budgeting, financial management, and operational planning. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a large health system or academic medical center. - Certification in Radiology Administration or related professional credentials. - Proven success in leading technology upgrades and digital transformation initiatives. - Strong background in vendor management and contract negotiations.
