Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, managing teams, and integrating advanced imaging technologies to support clinical excellence. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage the imaging services department, ensuring efficient and effective operations. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging services and patient outcomes. - You will oversee compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation requirements. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize imaging workflows and resource utilization. - You will manage budgets, staffing, and equipment procurement to support departmental goals. - You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and patient-centered care. - You will evaluate and integrate new imaging technologies and innovations. - You will represent the imaging services department in leadership meetings and community outreach. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or related healthcare leadership roles. - Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and healthcare regulations. - Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. - Relevant certifications in imaging or healthcare administration are preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with advanced imaging technologies such as MRI, CT, and PET. - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS). - Leadership experience in a large healthcare system or academic medical center.
