Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. Your role is pivotal in driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service quality and patient satisfaction. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare leaders to optimize imaging protocols and patient care pathways. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational performance metrics. - You will drive technology adoption and process improvements to advance imaging capabilities. - You will represent the imaging department in organizational leadership meetings and community outreach. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in imaging services or radiology. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex operations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. - Relevant certifications in radiology or healthcare management are preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a large health system or academic medical center. - Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field. - Familiarity with emerging imaging technologies and digital health innovations. - Track record of successful quality improvement initiatives.
