Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and staff development within the imaging department. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service quality and efficiency. - You will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals to achieve departmental goals. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance. - You will analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance service delivery. - You will stay current with technological advancements and integrate new imaging technologies. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical imaging, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. - Proven experience in managing healthcare teams and operations. - Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. - Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance. - Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Radiology Administration or related credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging software systems. - Background in budgeting and financial management within healthcare. - Experience leading large teams in a multi-facility health system.
