Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery. You will play a critical role in strategic planning, staff development, and the integration of advanced imaging technologies to support clinical and operational goals. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance of the imaging services. - You will implement and maintain quality assurance programs to enhance patient safety and service quality. - You will collaborate with clinical leaders to integrate imaging services into patient care pathways. - You will drive innovation by evaluating and adopting new imaging technologies and practices. - You will ensure effective communication and coordination across departments and with external partners. - You will monitor and report on key performance indicators to senior leadership. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Experience with budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. - Relevant certifications in imaging or healthcare management are preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in a large, multi-site healthcare system. - Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging information systems (PACS/RIS). - Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement initiatives.
