Role Overview: As the Director of Imaging Services, you will lead and oversee all imaging operations within the health system, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, maintaining compliance, and fostering a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do: - You will manage and direct all imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound departments. - You will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance imaging service quality and operational efficiency. - You will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of imaging professionals. - You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care. - You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new imaging technologies. - You will analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in imaging services management or a related healthcare leadership role. - Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and healthcare regulations. - Proven leadership and team development skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Experience with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare setting. - Ability to drive innovation and manage change effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Radiology Administration or related credentials. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and imaging software systems. - Background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. - Advanced degree in healthcare administration or related field.
