Full Description
Birmingham Public Schools is seeking a General Education, Kindergarten Paraprofessional at Beverly Elementary. This is a 10-month position. Job Responsibilities: Assist the teacher with instructional tasks assigned, and supporting students in the general education classes individually and in small groups Support classroom activities and provide quality care for children in the Kindergarten classroom Serve as a liaison between the school and the family Attending Parent-Staff Meetings, during regular working hours Participate in planned professional learning Observe student performance and assist in the planning and implementation of appropriate instructional activities Be able to lift to 40 pounds Perform other related duties as assigned Please see the attached posting for additional details.
