Full Description

Position Overview Provides personal care and expanded scope of task activities to patients, under the direction of a a Registered Nurse. Provides rehabilitative exercises under the supervision of a Rehabilitation Therapist. Reports to Home Health Aide Supervisor for overall guidance and assignments, and to their assigned Registered Nurse for supervision of patient care. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Residential Healthcare Facility, UHS Senior Living at Ideal Primary Work Shift: Evening Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 Compensation Range: $15.00 - $20.74 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits. ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: HS Diploma/GED and successful completion of Home Health Aide program OR Current HHA Certification (no HS diploma/GED required if have current HHA certification) Preferred: None License/Certification Minimum Required: Current HHA Certification OR Obtain HHA within 12 months upon completion of HHA program ----- About United Health Services United Health Services (UHS) is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New York’s Southern Tier comprising four hospitals, long-term care and home care services, and physician practices in Broome and surrounding counties.
