Role Overview: As the Manager of Travel Services, you will oversee all aspects of travel coordination and management for NY CREATES, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and seamless travel experiences for our staff and partners. This role is pivotal in supporting the organization's operational needs and enhancing overall travel policies and procedures. What You'll Do: - You will manage and coordinate all travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation. - You will develop and implement travel policies to optimize cost savings and compliance. - You will liaise with travel vendors and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms. - You will oversee travel budgets and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to financial guidelines. - You will provide support and guidance to employees regarding travel planning and troubleshooting. - You will maintain accurate travel records and generate reports for management review. - You will collaborate with other departments to align travel services with organizational goals. - You will stay updated on industry trends and travel regulations to continuously improve services. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years experience in travel management or a related field. - Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and software. - Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. - Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting. - Exceptional organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
