WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: • Achieve ambitious sales goals for CADDY Commercial Electrical (CCI) and Gardner Bender by converting new business opportunities, focusing on projects and new product sales. • Lead and inspire sales agents, establishing clear goals aligned with strategic territory plans. • Cultivate strong relationships with key end-user customers and distributor partners at all levels. • Share your expertise by coordinating training sessions for contractors on the use of our innovative products. • Deliver impactful presentations that highlight our value propositions and benefits. • Develop effective sales strategies and tactical plans to consistently hit regional sales targets. • Communicate valuable competitive feedback and market insights internally to refine our offerings and messaging. • Utilize Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline and provide feedback to support collaboration. • Note: While this position is posted in multiple states, we will only be making one hire. YOU HAVE: • A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent level of experience in outside sales is preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in outside sales and/or territory management within the commercial electrical sector. • The ability to work remotely from a home office; travel 50-60% of the time within the region is expected, including regular overnight trips. A valid driver's license is required. • Experience working directly with end-user customers on project-based sales. • Proven leadership skills to guide direct reports and/or sales agents/manufacturing partners. • Proficiency with customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce.com. • Strong organizational and time management skills with a collaborative mindset. • A preference for technical sales and value-based selling. • The physical ability to walk and navigate construction sites as part of your role.
