Scheduling appointments and surgeries, managing client interactions via electronic medical records, greeting clients, handling check-ins and check-outs, and communicating with medical staff.
High school diploma or equivalent with veterinary reception experience and AVImark knowledge preferred but not required.
The Opportunity: Come join our Team! We are a well-established, full-service, 3-doctor, AAHA accredited hospital that is dedicated to provide our community with optimal veterinary care. Our practice promotes a welcoming environment where our team members feel like family. Our hospital is fully furnished with 7 exam rooms, a large treatment suite, two dental wet tables, sterile surgical suite, and state of the art equipment including complete in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, digital intraoral x-ray, lift exam tables and more. Responsibilities: · Scheduling appointments, surgeries and future appointments · Using electronic medical record to document client interaction and conversations · Ability to work at a computer for the majority of shift (shift lengths vary) · Communicate effectively with the technician staff and DVM staff on all items related to patient/clients · Greet clients by phone and in person at the hospital · Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time · Check clients in and complete appointments by checking out and closing invoices · Making reminder calls · Responding to messages through multiple hospital platforms · Triage calls on a case by case basis for best scheduling in partnership with the medical team · Complete routine daily operating tasks including opening and closing responsibilities (dependent on shift) · Champion our wellness plans for well pets · Communicate with local specialty practices and boarding facilities as necessary Qualifications: High School Graduate or Equivalent Veterinary reception experience and knowledge of AVImark is a plus Benefits: $17.00 - $21.00 hourly Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training Medical/Dental/Vision Retirement - 401k + match Short/Long Term Disability Life Insurance Employee Pet Discount Provided Uniforms PTO Fair Work-Life Balance For more information about our hospital, visit https://www.hillsborobeachanimal.com.
