Overview Electrical Technical Project Manager – Power/Utilities – Remote – Northern California At NV5, we fully understand the United States aging electrical grid faces significant challenges in meeting the increasing demand for power delivery. Moreover, navigating through permitting requirements can often stall the design and implementation of modern transmission and distribution assets. Leveraging proprietary design methodologies and state-of-the-art modeling software, we tackle complex site-specific obstacles head-on, reducing construction timelines and costs associated with electrical distribution and transmission improvements. We have an opportunity for a talented & ambitious Sr. Electrical Engineer to join us as our new Technical Project Manager – Power/Utilities. This role is remote based in Northern California. With you as our new Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing relationships that go beyond the realm of the project at hand. You will work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of transmission/distribution line and civil related engineering problems involving overhead/underground power lines and substations. Responsibilities Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: · Act as the responsible engineer and client point of contact for power delivery projects. · Increase the volume of overhead line work with existing clients. · Assist in marketing and promotion efforts to add new regional clients. · Develop your career via peer-learning through sharing knowledge with other experienced engineers and train and mentor junior staff. · Travel to client sites as needed. · Mentor junior staff. Qualifications We are seeking the following experience: · B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program is required · 10+ of progressive experience with electrical power/utilities projects · 5+ years project management experience · Experience with Primavera P6 Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, PTO, 401(k), and professional development opportunities.
