Company Description As a ministry and agency of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Catholic Charities of Philadelphia, Nutritional Development Services (NDS) brings the mission of the Church to serve those in need, particularly those experiencing food insecurity. Role Description The Program Development Coordinator will: • promote children's participation in NDS meal programs through visits, activities, presentations, and nutrition education demonstrations • work with the Community Resource Director to create outreach materials and information packets for all NDS programs • help identify new sites • represent NDS at outside meetings/trainings/conferences • assist with NDS training sessions, special projects and events • participate in NDS Wellness Committee discussions and meetings Qualifications • Strong skills in Program Management and Program Development • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Strong public speaker • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain attention to detail • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Knowledge or experience in nutrition, health and wellness • Self-starter • Excellent time management • Experience teaching and/or working with children
