Role Description We are looking for a freelance entry-level IT support technician to provide “remote hands” assistance for our IT team. You will serve as the on-site extension of our remote engineers, helping with basic equipment setup, troubleshooting, and coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone starting in IT who wants to gain hands-on experience in real environments while working flexible hours. Responsibilities • Assist with setting up and connecting computers, printers, and other devices. • Plug in, move, and organize network cables and equipment as directed. • Follow remote IT team instructions step by step to troubleshoot issues. • Perform basic checks (power, connectivity, cabling, and device status). • Document and report results clearly back to the IT team. • Occasionally coordinate with delivery staff or vendors for equipment. Requirements • Basic knowledge of computers, Wi-Fi, and common IT hardware. • Ability to carefully follow instructions and communicate clearly. • Reliable, punctual, and professional when on-site. • Must be authorized to work as an independent contractor/freelancer.
