Full Description

This is a remote position. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and exposure to Microsoft Fabric. This is a part-time advisory and hands-on role focused on designing, optimizing, and supporting modern cloud data architecture. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable Azure-based data solutions. Work extensively with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory and related data services. Support and guide implementation within Microsoft Fabric environments. Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models. Collaborate on reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI. Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and mentorship (Fabric trainee-level support as needed). Participate in a monthly onsite session (~2 hours) in Southern California. Required Qualifications: Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory. Experience designing enterprise-level data architectures. Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and visualization. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. Ability to work independently in a part-time advisory capacity. Engagement Details: Approx. 25 hours per month (around 6 hours per week). One onsite meeting per month (2 hours) in Southern California.
