Full Description

We are small family-based and well-respected commercial masonry company delivering high-level masonry services on large-scale projects throughout the Detroit Metro Area. We are looking for an organized and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Project Managers and to help keep projects running smoothly. Position Overview The Administrative Assistant will coordinate (primarily from the field at project sites) with other administrative staff, ownership, and project managers to ensure success at all levels of project management. The Administrative Assistant will provide direct support to Project Managers with scheduling, documentation, and project coordination. This role will require frequent travel to job sites and offices, as well as some remote work. Knowledge of the construction industry, especially commercial building and masonry, is strongly preferred. There are excellent opportunities for professional growth and development, including potential roles in project management, for properly qualified candidates. Qualifications • Administrative or office support, project management, or other similar experience is required (construction industry experience is strongly preferred). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and to ensure complete follow through on tasks while handling multiple priorities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the Detroit Metro and surrounding areas.
