Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years IT experience with strong knowledge in Java/Spring Boot, Oracle, Linux, CI/CD tools, configuration management, scripting, containerization, and application server support.

Our Know Your Client application enables advisors to collect information about new potential customers, calculates their risk and decides in a workflow to accept or reject the customer as a client. Additionally, all clients are reviewed on a periodic schedule. The solution is using REACT as front end, Java/Spring Boot as backend and an Oracle Exa-Database for storage. The instance is hosted on-prem on application servers. A migration of the hosting to Google Cloud and a role out of new instances in new locations is in progress. We are looking for full-time DevOps engineers to build the kind of global systems that will underpin and drive our client's global business. What You’ll Be Doing Member of the Application Team Perform configuration management, build, and deployment activities in different environment set-ups. Support the Release Manager in preparing release notes, deployment instructions and run books for production deployments Being able to provide support for technical infrastructure components (middleware, databases, operating systems) Involvement in the whole SDLC flow Being able to contribute to problem and root cause analysis Being able to contribute to continuous improvement of build, deploy and release processes Being able to create knowledge base articles Being able to create and renew keys (SSH, PGP) and certificates used in the project What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field At least 4 - 7 years of relevant work experience in IT Experience in a support, application administration or technical specialist role Experience with supporting development teams in an agile, waterfall or hybrid environment Good knowledge of application servers (WebLogic server, Tomcat etc.) Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) Good knowledge of Linux (RHEL etc.) Experience with any continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (TeamCity, Jenkins etc.) Experience with any configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.) Good knowledge of any build tool (MVN, ANT, etc.) Good knowledge of any version control system (GIT, SVN, etc.) Experience with any scripting language (bash, PowerShell, etc.) Experience with containerization and container operations (Docker) Experience with deployment, configuration, and support of J2EE applications Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Experience using the Atlassian dev and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
