Role Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Services Senior Project Manager to join our Financial Services Consulting Team. This is a remote, but client-facing role that requires a strong foundation in management consulting, proven expertise in financial services, and hands-on experience leading complex IT projects across core banking functions. • Lead multiple medium-to-large project(s) or a single highly complex project. • Define and implement project and program management standards and processes within NTT DATA and across client engagements. • Leverage and share your deep understanding of the Financial Services industry and related subject areas. • Handle diverse issues and lead projects that contribute to the company’s success. • Instruct, direct, and check the work of other employees. • Coach, motivate, and guide employees. • Utilize best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance. • Build relationships with clients to improve services and ensure service levels are being met. • Identify opportunities and lead the conversation for the new and expansion on the existing businesses. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field • 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry as a project manager or business analyst who delivered projects utilizing formalized Agile and/or waterfall methodologies • 2+ years of experience in a consulting position that required daily customer engagement and delivery excellence to complete client projects. • 2+ year(s) of experience leading or participating in IT projects supporting one or more of the following core banking functions: • Bank modernization • Card and payments • Core financial services • Lending – retail and commercial • Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures • Wealth management • Governance, risk, and compliance • Consent order and response • Data and analytics • Mobile banking • Digital transformation • Flexibility to travel 10%+ Preferred Skills • Experience with Commercial Loan Servicing Platform Conversion (AFSVision or Loan IQ) • Management Consulting firm (Big 4 preferred) experience • Global cross-functional team working experience • Product configuration and design knowledge
