CFC has a need for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join the Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will support the design, implementation and management of compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain and motivate talent. This position conducts research and analysis to deliver competitive reward solutions that are aligned with business objectives and goals. As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will: Serve as a resource on Total Rewards for employees and managers, providing clear guidance and collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate responses. Participate in the annual merit process by ensuring individual work streams are complete and the examination of data for quality. Participate in compensation surveys, conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends. Develop and maintain job descriptions and job architecture. Support benefits program administration and communicate eligibility and coverage information to employees. Conduct benchmarking and market analysis and provides actionable insights to support broader business decisions, including workforce planning and Total Rewards initiatives. Evaluate and coordinate reasonable accommodation requests under the ADA, collaborating with employees, leaders and Legal. Maintain and communicates leave-related data that impacts pay changes, merit cycles, and bonuses. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies To be successful, you will need: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. 5 years of experience in Total Rewards with at least 3 years of Compensation experience.
