Title : Water Treatment Project Executive Location: Gresham, Oregon (Portland Metro) Duration: Fulltime Position Overview • We are seeking a Water Treatment Project Executive to lead, develop, and deliver large ‐ scale water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects across the Pacific Northwest. • This role is responsible for strategic oversight, client relationships, financial performance, and operational excellence on complex municipal and industrial treatment facilities. • This is a career ‐ defining executive role with a national/ leading water infrastructure contractor offering market ‐ leading compensation, long ‐ term equity participation, and the opportunity to shape a growing water infrastructure platform. Key Responsibilities • Provide executive leadership for water and wastewater treatment projects from pursuit through close ‐ out • Oversee multiple project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and support staff • Drive project strategy, risk management, scheduling, and profitability • Serve as the primary executive interface with municipal clients, utilities, regulators, and design partners • Lead business development efforts, including pursuits, proposals, and negotiated work • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards • Partner with senior leadership to support regional growth and long ‐ range planning Experience Required • 15+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment construction • Proven leadership on large ‐ scale treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, or process facilities • Experience managing $100M+ programs or portfolios (single project or cumulative) • Strong background in alternative delivery methods (Design ‐ Build, CM/GC, Progressive DB, EPC) • Demonstrated success leading multi ‐ discipline teams and complex stakeholder environments Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred) • Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and systems • Exceptional financial acumen, including project controls, forecasting, and margin management • Proven ability to lead negotiations and maintain high ‐ value client relationships • Executive ‐ level communication and decision ‐ making skills • PE license and/or PMP preferred, but not required Benefits • Equity / stock options or long ‐ term incentive participation • Performance ‐ based annual bonus • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company contribution • Vehicle allowance or company vehicle • Relocation assistance (if applicable) • Generous PTO and paid holidays • Executive support resources and leadership development opportunities Why This Opportunity • Lead critical water infrastructure projects that directly impact regional communities • Join a well ‐ capitalized organization with a strong backlog and growth trajectory • Influence strategy and execution at the executive decision ‐ making level • Competitive compensation aligned with top national water treatment leadership roles • PE license and/or PMP preferred, but not required
