We are growing and looking for a Staff Accountant who enjoys both detailed work and problem-solving in a hands-on manufacturing environment. About the Role In this role, you will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and cost accounting activities. You will partner closely with operations to ensure accurate inventory and production cost tracking and play a vital role in month-end close. What You’ll Do • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations • Maintain and reconcile A/R and A/P • Support monthend, quarterend, and yearend close • Assist with inventory counts and valuation • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules • Analyze manufacturing costs and variances • Review standard cost reports for material, labor, and overhead allocations • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Assist with internal and external audits • Help maintain strong internal controls and policy compliance What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 2+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred) • Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or similar preferred) • Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities • Detailoriented, collaborative, and proactive communicator Why You’ll Love Working Here • Impactful work in a growing organization • Supportive, teamoriented culture • Opportunities for professional development Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $50,000 $70,000, based on experience • Quarterly bonuses based on company and individual performance • HSA contributions: $96$277/month based on coverage PTO: • 2 weeks in years 12 • 3 weeks beginning year 3 • 11 paid holidays Insurance provided by the company: • Shortterm disability • Longterm disability • Life insurance • 100% dental coverage Other benefits: health & vision plans, onsite fitness room, gym discounts, company events, Titans ticket drawings, employee recognition awards Equal Employment Opportunity / ADA Statement (Tennessee) Novamet Specialty Products Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
