Headquartered in the U.S. with teams across Europe and the UAE, Nova Sky Stories works with the world’s leading brands, venues, and events. 📱 Follow us: @NovaSkyStories About this role: As the Warehouse Manager for Nova Sky Stories, you will be the leader and owner of our entire drone asset lifecycle management and warehouse operations. You will ensure the efficient and accurate flow of inventory while directly managing, mentoring, and guiding our team of Warehouse Associates. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for: Inventory Control & Asset Readiness • Maintain inventory accuracy for all drones, launchpads, and support equipment by implementing full-cycle scanning protocols upon return from each deployment. • Establish a system to proactively monitor inventory levels and coordinate the timely ordering of replacement or additional assets to prevent operational shortages. • Manage the daily process of selecting appropriate drones for deployment and mandate their meticulous logging in the equipment logbook. Receiving, Packing, and Shipping Logistics • Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics, directly supervising the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trucks for transport. • Direct the detailed, quality-controlled packing of drones and related materials for upcoming shows. • Ensure that a detailed packing list for each show is accurately generated and distributed in the designated communication channel to maintain transparency with field teams. • Coordinate external support or temporary labor when necessary to manage high-volume logistics peaks. Equipment Maintenance and Facility Management • Lead the process to identify and extract drones and equipment requiring maintenance or repair, ensuring minimal asset downtime. • Develop and enforce standards for the routine cleaning and maintenance of all relevant equipment to maximize asset longevity and operational reliability. • Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and efficiently managed warehouse environment to meet safety and operational standards (Facility Upkeep). You’ll need to have: • 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics supervision. • Demonstrated experience in asset lifecycle management or tracking high-value, serialized equipment (e.g., electronics, specialized tools, drones) in a fast-paced environment. • Proven leadership ability, including directly managing, scheduling, and training a team of Warehouse Associates (2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred). • Expert proficiency with modern Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for real-time tracking, reporting, and cycle counting. • Strong working knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices, including proper freight handling, packaging standards, and load safety.
