We are seeking a Manager of Human Resources to lead with vision, compassion, and expertise. What You’ll Do • Provide leadership across all facets of human resources, including labour and employee relations, recruitment, occupational health & safety, and organizational wellness. • Guide managers and staff in navigating collective agreements, grievances, arbitration, and labour relations. • Lead the organization’s talent acquisition strategy, ensuring NorWest CHC attracts and retains top talent. • Strengthen policies and practices related to occupational health and safety, disability claims, and employee well-being. • Use data and HR information systems to inform decision-making and track workforce trends. • Contribute to a culture of equity, inclusion, and collaboration, aligning HR strategies with NorWest CHC mission and values. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent education/experience considered). • 3–5 years of senior-level HR experience in a unionized setting, preferably in health care or the non-profit sector. • CHRL designation (or working toward completion) and membership in the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario. • Proven expertise in collective bargaining, grievance/arbitration processes, and employment/labour law. • Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and related legislation. • Experience in talent acquisition, disability management, payroll, and HRIS systems. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
