Job Description This position is responsible for Network office recruiting efforts on the college campus. Working with the Chief Recruiting Officer and Chief Development Officer, the Campus Recruiter develops strategies for working with identified universities to achieve internship and conversion campus recruiting goals. The Campus Recruiter is responsible for building and maintaining relationships across each campus to promote the Northwestern Mutual internship and career opportunities. The Campus Recruiter is a member of the Network office leadership team and is responsible to the team for achieving set activities and goals. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Campus Recruiting & Selection • Master information and language regarding all aspects of the financial representative career and internship as well as each step of the selection process • Work with network and district office leadership team to determine conversion and internship goals & activity • Execute network and district office campus recruiting plan to reach activity and contract goals • Identify and prioritize which campuses the office will recruit from • Develop centers of influence on each identified campus • Review all campus resumes received to determine eligibility for screening interviews • Conduct all on-campus screening interviews for internship candidates • Manage all campus candidates through the selection process • Master presentation material to conduct class/club talks • Participate in campus career fairs • Manage and implement campus advertising and promotions Accountability & Tracking * Maintain database of all campus recruiting & selection activity for the network and district offices on a daily basis • Report weekly activity to leadership team • Utilize home office supported software to maintain the candidate database and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process • Participate in regular (weekly, monthly & quarterly) meetings with the leadership team • Prepare campus activity/results reports for leadership team meetings Miscellaneous • Work with the leadership team to coordinate campus recruiting efforts • Maintain sufficient inventory of all recruiting materials & supplies needed for campus efforts • Assist in continuous development of network and district offices' internship programs • Develop programs/contests as needed to enhance campus recruiting results • Provide support to leadership team members for campus recruiting & selection efforts Qualification Criteria * Bachelor’s degree preferred • Two years progressively responsible work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting or financial services industry • Excellent communication skills required Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $61,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: • Troy, MI 48084: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $61,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
