They are seeking a PDK Electrical Engineering Manager 2 to lead a team in the design and development of high-performance computing solutions, focusing on managing technical staff and ensuring effective engineering processes are followed. Responsibilities • Support a team of 10-15 technical staff in management role. Administrative management responsibilities include staffing, performance and compensation management, and career development • Lead a team of integrated circuit process development kit developers • Review work of other PDK engineers • Document and implement best practices • Inform stakeholders and program managers for status updates, issue resolution, and overall engineering execution • Partner with program management office to ensure successful execution against cost and schedule targets • Provide technical leadership to the team and ensuring proper engineering processes and procedures are followed • Work with peers and training leads to identify critical skill shortfalls; develop appropriate technical training; and improve team performance Skills • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience (or Master of Science degree with 6 years) within a related engineering field • Experience with writing design verification rules • Demonstrated experience with Cadence Virtuoso environment AND DRC/LVS/PEX within Cadence DIVA, Assura or Mentor Graphics Calibre • Experience generating scripts (SKILL, Python, PERL, Ocean, Linux Shell, etc.) to provide capabilities within a CAD environment • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software tools, i.e. Atlassian tools stack - Jira, Confluence • Must be willing to work on site 100% of time • Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required • This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen • Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary US government security clearance per business requirements • Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 6+ years within a related engineering field • Experience managing teams of 10 or more • Experience with EVMS • Semiconductor device modeling experience • Knowledge of semiconductor process development, design, manufacturing and testing • Experience taking lab measurements on process control monitor (PCM) test structures or interpreting results from automated testing of those structures • Experience utilizing the Spectre simulator to verify models match measurements • Must be willing to work on site 100% of time • Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required • This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance per business requirements Benefits • Health insurance coverage • Life and disability insurance • Savings plan • Company paid holidays • Paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business Company Overview • Northrop Grumman is an aerospace, defense and security company that provides training and satellite ground network communications software.
