Lead and manage a large team across multiple sites, oversee program operations and logistics, ensure quality and mission assurance, and coordinate with leadership and customers.
Bachelor's degree with 9+ years in aviation operational planning and leadership, active TS/SCI clearance, ability to obtain SAP, willingness to travel extensively, and preferred military and FAA pilot experience.
Description: • Lead a group of 30+ employees and will direct all aspects of program operations and logistics • Program management and leadership at various sites on a rotating basis • Direct customer interface at all operating sites • Senior Northrop Grumman representative at all operating sites • Quality and mission assurance • Standardized training of personnel • Asset readiness and analysis • Communication with Program Management and IPT leadership • Complex and dynamic problem resolution • Strategic plans development • Contingency plans development • Mobilization, deployment, and retrograde of program assets and personnel • Monitor technical performance and provide IWO oversight • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems, and yield solutions • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree • at least 9 years of experience with a background in aviation operational planning, execution, and training or a Masters Degree in at least 7 years of experience with a background in aviation operational planning, execution, and training • Active DOD Active TS/SCI Clearance • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed and up to 50% of travel • Master of Science degree in STEM or the field of aviation preferred • At least 15 years of experience in aviation operational planning, execution, and training preferred • At least 5 years of experience managing large organizations (20+) with multi-million dollar budgets preferred • Experience managing highly technical projects which have delivered critical/complex hardware and/or capability to customers preferred • Military experience leading tactical and operational teams with increasing levels of responsibility preferred • FAA Pilot with Commercial Privileges and at least 1500 hours mishap free flight time preferred • Certified Flight Instructor or military equivalent preferred • Experience living and working in OCONUS locations preferred • Willing to work curtailed hours when not deployed preferred • Ability to understand new technologies and help expand new business opportunities preferred Benefits: • Health insurance coverage • Life and disability insurance • Savings plan • Company paid holidays • Paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business
