Job Summary The Director of Service Support will lead the strategic development and execution of labor planning, forecasting, and workforce optimization initiatives across the retail aftermarket auto parts network. This role is responsible for ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring a datadriven mindset, deep knowledge of workforce management systems, and a strong understanding of retail operations. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop and implement long-term labor strategies aligned with business goals, seasonal trends, and market dynamics. • Lead team in Labor Modeling method studies and implement any changes given business needs • Labor Forecasting & Scheduling: Lead the design and execution of labor models to forecast staffing needs for all stores • Workforce Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve labor productivity and reduce costs through process improvements, automation, and scheduling efficiencies. • Technology & Systems Leadership: Oversee the implementation and optimization of workforce management tools (e.g., Logile) to support labor planning and compliance. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, HR, Finance, and IT to align labor strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless execution. • Analytics & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor labor performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure labor practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour regulations Position Requirements And Conditions • This position is headquartered in the Northgate Gonzalez Market Support Center. As such, this position is defined as full-time and on-site. Any remote work or work performed outside of the Support Center must be authorized by the Department’s Supervisor. • Proven experience with workforce management systems (Logile,) • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g, • Tableau) • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous • improvement • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance or related field. • Master's degree preferred. • * 10+ years of experience in labor planning, workforce management, or operations • leadership, preferably in a retail or distribution environment. • * Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement training Physical Demands and Conditions Requirements The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
