We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Team Leader to join our supportive and values-driven team at Montgomery House. This is more than a leadership role. It’s a chance to guide, inspire, and empower — supporting adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives. 💙 The Role As a Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of the service, supporting both the people we care for and the team who deliver that care. You’ll lead by example, promote positive outcomes, and help create a safe, empowering environment where everyone can thrive. What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day ✨ Supporting the Service Manager with the smooth running of the service ✨ Leading, supervising, and mentoring Support Workers ✨ Encouraging independence and positive daily living for the people we support ✨ Administering medication safely and in line with best practice ✨ Allocating shifts and duties to ensure consistent, high-quality care ✨ Championing person-centred care and building positive relationships with families ✨ Maintaining accurate, respectful records ✨ Promoting safeguarding, dignity, and confidentiality at all times Every day will bring challenges — but also the reward of seeing real progress, confidence, and recovery. 🔍 About You You’ll be someone who genuinely cares, leads with empathy, and isn’t afraid to step up when it matters. We’re Looking For ✔️ Experience supporting adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities (in inpatient or challenging settings) ✔️ Experience with substance misuse is a bonus ✔️ Leadership experience — or the ambition to take that next step ✔️ Calm, resilient, and compassionate approach ✔️ Strong communication and team-working skills ✔️ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) ✔️ Right to work in the UK Our values are simple but powerful: Positive.
