The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition team and manages the candidate experience. Responsibilities include scheduling interviews, managing pre-hire processes, and collaborating with various teams for onboarding and employment branding.
A high school diploma is required, with a preference for an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or HR coordination and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Talent Acquisition Coordinator North - Remote (Hybrid, Troy, MI preferred) The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition team, candidates, and hiring managers, as well as plays a key role as an ambassador to North team members. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual who is service-oriented and organized. You will own, manage and elevate the candidate experience. You are passionate about offering support to your internal stakeholders, which includes Talent Acquisition Specialists and hiring managers, as well as being the main point of contact for candidates, all while keeping a quality, professional experience top of mind. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is excited about Talent Acquisition and wants to gain exposure to all aspects of the recruiting function - from sourcing to full-cycle recruiting, as well as employment branding. What you'll do: Provide first-class experiences to all candidates and internal hiring leaders Use applicant tracking system (ATS) to create and finalize offer documents Own all pre-hire processes: new hire paperwork, including I-9 processing, and background check processes for all incoming new hires Schedule and prepare candidate interviews by sending confirmations, coordinating travel arrangements (if applicable), and managing all interview logistics Partner with the Learning and Development and IT Support teams to support the needs of new hire onboarding Monitor the shared inbox and respond to questions surrounding employment opportunities and staff relations Track all employee referral bonuses and one-time payments; coordinate with Payroll to ensure payments are made on time Own the tracking of all temporary staff (start dates, end dates, communicate with agencies, IT, equipment collection, etc.) Collaborate with People Operations and Marketing on employment branding content and initiatives Assist with communications related to Talent Acquisition Assist with coordination of materials to university career fairs/events and conferences where needed Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor Assists with various day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition functions and duties What we need from you: High school diploma or equivalent GED required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience as a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition or HR Coordinator and/or relevant administrative experience Ability to collaborate effectively and work cross-functionally Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality, high level of integrity and accuracy Maintains a great attitude and high level of professionalism even under pressure Passion for employment branding is preferred Great interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and innovative, with experience working across functional departments Highly proficient with use of Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday is preferred) and Google Suite Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within deadline in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills What we offer: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that enables our teams to live a life well lived, both personally and professionally.
