Role Overview: As a Service Manager for one of our OEM clients headquartered in Southeastern Ohio, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving team performance. This role demands strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to excellence. What You'll Do: - You will manage and lead the service department to achieve operational goals and customer satisfaction. - You will develop and implement service strategies to improve efficiency and quality. - You will oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams. - You will monitor service metrics and prepare reports to inform management decisions. - You will ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations. - You will recruit, train, and mentor service staff to foster a high-performing team. - You will collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in service management, preferably within the OEM or manufacturing sector. - Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with OEM clients or in a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and safety standards. - Certification in service management or related fields. - Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
