Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager for one of our OEM clients headquartered in Southeastern Ohio. This role is pivotal in overseeing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving team performance to meet organizational goals. What You'll Do: - You will manage and lead the service department to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. - You will coordinate with various teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery. - You will develop and implement service strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention. - You will monitor service metrics and prepare reports for senior management. - You will handle escalated customer issues and provide effective resolutions. - You will train, mentor, and evaluate service staff to enhance their skills and performance. - You will manage budgets and control costs within the service department. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in service management, preferably within the OEM or manufacturing sector. - Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with OEM clients or in the automotive industry. - Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. - Additional certifications in service management or related fields. - Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
