Role Overview: As a Service Manager for one of our OEM clients headquartered in Southeastern Ohio, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing service operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate service activities effectively. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage the service department to meet and exceed customer expectations. - You will develop and implement service strategies to improve operational performance. - You will coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. - You will monitor service metrics and prepare reports for senior management. - You will handle customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues promptly. - You will train and mentor service staff to enhance their skills and productivity. - You will manage budgets and control costs within the service department. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience in service management, preferably within the OEM or manufacturing sector. - You bring strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams. - You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You bring proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You bring problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with OEM clients in the automotive or industrial sectors. - Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. - Technical background or understanding of mechanical/electrical systems. - Certification in service management or related fields.
