Make a difference. Be happy. Grow your career. Position Summary We are seeking a customer-centric Product Owner to join our growing Digital Product Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional product delivery teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and optimization. This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to build product roadmaps, align customer, vendor, and internal team working processes, and ensure the delivery of digital solutions that drive business value and enhance user experiences. A critical component of this role includes direct facilitation with business stakeholders in healthcare provider and shared services operations, to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements. These requirements will serve as the foundation for accurate technical estimation and implementation by the product delivery teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as the voice of the customer and the business within the product team, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and technical execution. Become a subject matter expert and act as primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and product delivery teams. Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with customers to gather, analyze, and validate business needs, developing business requirements documents (BRDs) to translate needs into actionable product requirements. Document detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications to support estimation and development activities. Act as the point of accountability for validating requirements and priorities with customers before and during delivery Own and manage the product backlog, continuously prioritizing based on customer value, business impact, technical effort, and strategic alignment. Partner with technical designers, developers, QA, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product solutions meet business needs and deliver a high-quality user experience. Collaborate closely with Agile delivery teams to support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management. Lead and refine agile ceremonies as needed based on subject matter expertise in Agile. Define product success metrics and support ongoing performance monitoring and optimization post-launch. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and innovation. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 2-4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within an Agile software development environment. Proven experience leading digital product initiatives from concept through delivery and iteration. Demonstrated ability to facilitate customer discussions and translate requirements into technical solutions. Experience writing detailed user stories and managing complex backlogs in tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Experience using automation to drive continuous improvement, including the use of AI/machine learning Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Certification(s) such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent. Familiarity with digital product domains such as e-commerce, SaaS platforms, data & analytics, or customer portals.
