The goal of this role is to drive organized and effective requirements to build a product. The Business Analyst seeks out, develops, and helps implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity by understanding and developing requirements in the form of user stories. Business Analysts are responsible for utilizing creative and practical thinking to translate user needs and pain points into direct improvements. In addition, the Business Analyst’s responsibilities include analyzing the potential impact of their recommendations pre or post implementation. Key Responsibilities Supports the Product Owners and Analytics Business Partners in collaborating with other teams and leaders to ensure team strategy aligns with overall product vision. Collaborates with Analytics Business Partners, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and other technical experts to shape the end-to-end product strategy and solution Stays in sync with the Product Owners and Analytics Business Partner on priorities to serve as day-to-day contact for the team on decision making and clarification of business requirements and user stories. Works independently and exercises strong decision-making mandate across the team as a proxy to the Product Owner and Analytics Business Partners Utilizes market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team Supports the Analytics Business Partner in managing and building a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead Contributes to the implementation and delivery of approved solutions and work products. Prepares and supports the team on product demos Documents, tracks and resolves issues related to data quality. Contributes to the design and mapping of data conversion strategies and efforts Analyzes large amounts of data and other business processes to form ideas and fix problem Analyzes and evaluates current business processes and identify areas of improvement. Analyzes processes and objectives of the business to determine how it operates and determine its objectives Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Skills and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of related experience or 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree Minimum Years of Experience 2 years of experience in a business analyst role (required) Previous experience in a healthcare provider setting (preferred) Previous experience with high-quality analytics product delivery (preferred) Additional details Travel as needed to support business objectives Nordic is an equal opportunity employer.
