They are seeking a Solutions Architect with experience in technical program management to develop best practices, monitor dependencies, and provide guidance to project teams. Responsibilities • Developing technical program/project management best practices/templates and providing training/mentoring to project teams • Monitoring dependencies across multiple inter-related technical projects • Gathering and reporting consolidated technical project status and financial information to leadership • In some organizations may serve as a central governing body to review/audit adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timing • In some organizations may provide full staffing and management for the organization's major technical projects/programs • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets • Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables • Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization • On some projects, where applicable, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables • Establishing operational plans for job area • Developing and implementing new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results • Requires communication with leadership.
