E-Commerce Specialist Remote Position GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for leading our e-commerce business, growth strategy, and driving the organizational growth of our e-commerce business. This role will manage our online store, optimize sales funnels, and work closely with various departments to ensure an exceptional online shopping experience. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Developing and executing e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and enhance the customer experience. 2. Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, sales, and customer satisfaction to draw insights and suggest improvement ideas for sales growth. 3. Managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms, i.e. Amazon and Walmart, including product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, as well as planning and executing promotional campaigns, and inventory management. 4. Leverages data-driven insights to fuel growth: Analyzing performance data (sales, conversion rates, ROI) is crucial for understanding what's working and identifying opportunities to boost revenue and optimize marketing spend. This directly impacts the bottom line. 5. Champions exceptional online customer experiences: Happy customers are repeat customers. Ensuring seamless support and resolving issues quickly builds loyalty and positive word-of-mouth, which significantly impacts long-term success. 6. Orchestrates seamless e-commerce operations: A well-oiled machine behind the scenes ensures that the website functions correctly, orders are processed smoothly, and customers receive their purchases on time. This is foundational for a positive customer experience and efficient business operations. 7. Ensures optimal website functionality and user experience: A functional and user-friendly website is the storefront. If it's buggy or difficult to navigate, you'll lose customers before they even make a purchase. This directly supports sales and customer satisfaction. 8. Streamlines order fulfillment and delivery logistics: Efficient logistics directly impact customer satisfaction and can also affect costs. While crucial, the immediate impact on sales might be slightly less direct than the top priorities. 9. Drives continuous improvement and innovation: Staying updated is important for long-term success and staying competitive. However, the immediate impact on daily operations and revenue might be less direct than the other responsibilities. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field. EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS: More than 7 years of experience as an e-commerce manager or in a similar e-commerce or digital marketing role. Possess strong understanding of and expertise in online sales platforms and digital marketing strategies. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
