We are an expanding leader in the facilities maintenance industry for retail stores throughout Northern California. Visit us at www.redhammerbuilding.com We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to work in Vallejo and North Bay cities, who are self-motivated, an effective problem solver, and have customer service skills. The technician will respond to service calls ranging from commercial plumbing repairs, carpentry, general store maintenance, and minor electrical work. This is a Full-Time employment position with a company vehicle. Medical Insurance, 401k, and profit-sharing included. Responsibilities: • Respond to daily, after-hours, and emergency service calls as assigned by the dispatch manager • Drive to and from affected stores in our service area • Complete work orders in a timely fashion • Perform troubleshooting procedures and repairs at site locations • Research/order necessary replacement parts • Maintain material and supply inventory • Communicate with office staff with detailed assessments • *Please read: NO RESUMES looking for HVAC work, management position, and/or Engineer work ** Requirements: • Able to serve stores in the North Bay area • High School graduate or GED equivalent. • Computer Skills and/or able to operate a smartphone and/or tablet • Ability to communicate effectively - written and verbal • Ability to handle physical workload • Have a current driver's license, clean driving record, and will provide a current Driving Record (DMV) • Pre-employment Drug Screening • Have standard tools License/Certifications/Contractor is a plus.
