Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves local route driving, delivery, and pick-up services, requiring a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience operating box trucks and possess excellent driving skills, along with the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving loads. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on timely deliveries and exceptional service. Responsibilities • Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and pickups across designated routes • Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining proper documentation • Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving • Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, loading, and organizing shipments as needed • Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle throughout the shift Skills • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles • Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation within local areas • Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification is advantageous • Good organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and delivery documentation • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week Work Location: In person
