As a senior member of the team, you will be a trusted resource on the higher education landscape, providing critical insights that inform strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with internal teams—including business development, client management, and marketing—to support the identification of new opportunities for our partner institutions and will report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Research and Insights. This role requires a unique blend of analytical rigor and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end research projects, from initial discovery and data collection to analysis, synthesis, and final presentation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of translating complex data into clear, actionable, and visually compelling reports that drive tangible results for our partners. As a key member of the team, you will serve as a subject matter expert, supporting colleagues and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all research deliverables. Your work will directly support the development of new academic programs and the strategic direction of our partners' portfolios, helping them remain competitive and relevant in an evolving market. \n As the Senior Analyst, Strategic Research & Insights you will: Execute and manage end-to-end market research projects, including discovery, data collection, analysis, and report delivery for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct comprehensive secondary research using sources such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and Lightcast to analyze academic program trends, labor market indicators, and tuition rates. Develop and implement primary research methods, including survey design and analysis, to gather Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights. Synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into digestible, visually engaging reports and presentations. Serve as a senior analyst on the team, providing guidance and support for colleagues on higher education market research reports before they are presented to partners. Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal teams and key stakeholders at current and prospective partner institutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client management and marketing, to align research insights with strategic business objectives. You have: Master's degree in a quantitative or social science field such as Psychology, Sociology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. 7+ years of experience in market research, with a specialized focus on higher education, labor, and industry trends. Demonstrated expertise in both primary and secondary research methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and survey platforms like Qualtrics. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from project initiation to final delivery, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating complex data into compelling narratives for a variety of audiences. Experience presenting to high-level internal and external audiences, including C-suite executives. A strong problem-solving orientation and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.
