Description This position will be in support of various different roles: Customer Support, on-boarding, and various forms of software testing. Primary job function is to provide netFLEX software / application support to your assigned group of customers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting server OS, assisting IT administration, and troubleshooting software and network telecom equipment issues. In addition, onsite and web meeting customer training support is required. Requirements • Understanding and experience with leading telecom equipment, optical networking, and troubleshooting skills • LINUX/UNIX working knowledge is a plus • Excellent customer service support • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, as well as other communication packages – Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, Google Meet, and others utilized daily, with video • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with a strong initiative to learn, exhibit outstanding teamwork, and have excellent communication skills for cross-departmental management • Deep knowledge of optical networking, specifically including DWDM/OTN & Ethernet from various vendors. • SONET DS1 thru OC192 and SDH is a plus. Please list the specific equipment you have experience with. • In-depth NOC and/or onsite experience in provisioning, troubleshooting, and overall process development • Knowledge of TL1, SNMP, CLI, REST, RESTCONF, Netconf/Yang protocols
