Role Overview: As a Network Based System Analyst/ Cyber Network Defense Analyst (CNDA), you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' networks through proactive threat hunting, rapid incident response, and thorough investigation. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to operate effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. - You will conduct proactive threat hunting to detect and mitigate advanced cyber threats. - You will respond rapidly to onsite and remote security incidents, ensuring timely resolution. - You will perform detailed investigations to determine the root cause of security breaches. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security measures. - You will maintain and update security documentation and incident reports. - You will support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network defense capabilities. - You will ensure compliance with security policies and government regulations. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in network security analysis or cyber defense. - You hold an active Top Secret Clearance. - You possess strong knowledge of network protocols, intrusion detection systems, and cybersecurity tools. - You have experience with incident response and forensic analysis. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with government or military cybersecurity operations. - Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CNDA. - Familiarity with SIEM platforms and advanced threat intelligence tools. - Knowledge of compliance frameworks like NIST or FISMA.
