Role Overview: As a Network Based System Analyst / Cyber Network Defense Analyst (CNDA), you will play a crucial role in defending network environments against cyber threats. You will leverage your expertise to conduct proactive threat hunting, rapid incident response, and detailed investigations to ensure the integrity and security of client systems. What You'll Do: - You will monitor network traffic and system alerts to identify potential security incidents. - You will conduct proactive threat hunting to detect and mitigate advanced persistent threats. - You will respond rapidly to onsite and remote cybersecurity incidents, coordinating with stakeholders. - You will perform detailed forensic analysis and investigations to determine the root cause of security breaches. - You will develop and implement mitigation strategies to prevent future incidents. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and share threat intelligence. - You will maintain documentation and reports related to incident response and threat analysis. - You will ensure compliance with security policies and government regulations. What You Bring: - You have an active Top Secret Clearance. - You have at least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in network defense and incident response. - You possess strong knowledge of network protocols, intrusion detection systems, and forensic tools. - You have experience with cyber threat intelligence and proactive hunting techniques. - You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - You have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a government or defense environment. - Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CNDA. - Familiarity with SIEM platforms and advanced malware analysis. - Knowledge of compliance frameworks like NIST, FISMA, or RMF.
