Job description: A Field Service Engineer (Service Technician) contributes to the success of our company by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on our team to repair, inspect and troubleshoot their equipment. Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in Santa Fe Springs include: • Recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes • Training and instructing customers on service, repair and proper installation • Conducting high quality, efficient and timely repair and installation of CNC machines • Using software and electrical tools to find damaged work parts and identifying permanent solutions to repair computer controlled machines and accessories • Document and report any issues • Travel to customer locations to identity any technical problems and perform on-site repair Qualifications • Must have a mechanical and/or electrical background or relevant experience. • 1+ years maintenance or related experience (such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Metal Working, or Automotive) • Able to use dial indicators, micrometers, voltmeters, and calipers or other types of measurement equipment • Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience in this role. You will receive hands-on training in a warehouse environment, where you will work directly with machinery to gain a thorough understanding of all parts and components. • During the training period, no travel will be required. However, upon completion of training, you must be available to travel for projects, which may include occasional overnight stays. Travel typically occurs Monday through Friday, with weekends off. All travel expenses will be covered. • Familiarity with EDM, CNC, Lasers, Compressors, or Milling equipment is a plus but not required • Ability to work independently, a go getter that finds the next customer that needs our help • A valid driver’s license is required Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Working Hours: 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday Job Type: Full-time
