Job Title: Business Development Manager (Commission-Based | Remote) Company: Niche Consultancy Group Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Compensation: Commission-Based (Split Pay Model) Reports To: Founder & Managing Director About Niche Consultancy Group Niche Consultancy Group is a boutique staffing and human capital advisory firm focused on helping organizations find, hire, and retain exceptional talent. We partner with growing businesses across multiple industries to provide recruiting, workforce planning, and strategic hiring support. Our approach is relationship-driven, consultative, and results-focused. We are in a growth phase and are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to help expand our client base and increase revenue through strategic partnerships and new client acquisition. Position Summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for Niche Consultancy Group. This is a commission-based, remote role designed for a motivated sales and relationship professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment. This individual will be the front line of our growth efforts — building relationships with decision-makers, understanding client hiring needs, and presenting Niche Consultancy Group as a trusted recruitment and staffing partner. Success in this role is measured by signed client agreements, active job orders, and revenue generated. Key Responsibilities • Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities with companies that have hiring, staffing, or workforce planning needs • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship-based selling • Establish relationships with key decision-makers including HR leaders, hiring managers, executives, and business owners • Present and promote Niche Consultancy Group’s staffing and consulting services in a professional and compelling manner • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, pain points, and hiring goals • Negotiate and secure service agreements, staffing contracts, and recruitment partnerships • Collaborate with the recruiting and HR team to ensure a smooth transition from signed client to active job orders • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to support repeat business and long-term partnerships • Track outreach, leads, and deal progress using company CRM and reporting tools • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets Compensation Structure This is a commission-based role operating on a split-pay model. The Business Development Manager earns a percentage of revenue generated from clients they bring into the firm. Commission is paid on collected revenue for placements, staffing services, and consulting engagements secured by the candidate. This structure offers uncapped earning potential and is ideal for a motivated professional who wants to directly control their income through performance.
