Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of marine vessels and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using power tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot issues and provide exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines and electrical systems. • Assemble and fabricate components for various marine applications. • Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. • Conduct thorough inspections of vessels to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. • Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding vessel maintenance and enhancements. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to marine technology. Qualifications • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or similar fields. • Proficiency in using power tools and fabrication techniques. • Experience as a service technician or in a related role is preferred. • Basic electrical knowledge related to marine systems is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. • A commitment to safety protocols and practices in all aspects of work.
