The Director, Player Communications and Information is responsible for player data management systems, technology enhancements, analytics, and reporting. They will service all 3 units of the Player Operations department – Player Engagement, Player Relations, and Player Communications and Marketing – to define success metrics and develop performance dashboards that monitor impact of player programs, education, and engagements and drive department strategy. Responsibilities: • Oversee the management and development of technology systems related to players and programming including but not limited to Player CRM, NFL Programs, FIS, Legends Business Directory, and ServiceNow, collaborating with NFL IT and external vendors • Direct the development of the player portal app and content, which includes communication and resources to current players and NFL Legends • Creation and distribution of department surveys and collect feedback from player operations stakeholders • Creation of post-event summary reports including data visualizations from survey and feedback results • Player Operations initiatives tracker to track department goals and KPIs • Responsible for club dashboards data collection and reporting • Research and implement new technological systems to enhance player operations data analytics and reporting • Player Operations ERM enterprise risk management • Collaborate with Data & Analytics, Management Council, IT and other internal stakeholders to accurately capture and measure player information • Support department events and initiatives, when applicable Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business or analytics • Minimum 10 years relevant experience • Proven management experience • Extensive knowledge in all Microsoft programs and data reporting tools • Experience in Sport or Player Operations Preferred Qualifications: • Masters in sports management, business or analytics • Fluency in Power BI, Tableau, Dynamics, Qualtrics • Knowledge and passion for the sport of football • Ability to work well under tight deadlines • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently • Thrive in a team setting and can take directions well • Collaborate with multiple team members in different areas Other Key Attributes / Characteristics: • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively • Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbally and written • Effective interpersonal skills that enable one to communicate and work across the organization and with outside parties • Detail oriented • Ability to meet deadlines in high pressure situations • Ability to work in office settings Travel: Limited travel to special and calendar events (15% of time) Expected Hours of Work: Employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office. This role will require additional hours as needed (late nights, weekends) leading up to calendar events.
