We’re looking for a skilled Node.js Developer who knows how to keep systems fast, scalable, and clean, and loves solving real-world problems with code. We're Hiring! | Backend Developer (Node.js) 100% Remote Apply at start@nexxtideas.com Required Skills ● 5–10 years of backend development experience, primarily with Node.js ● Strong knowledge of Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks ● Proven track record designing & maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL services ● Expertise with microservices and serverless architectures ● Solid understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming ● Hands-on experience with modern databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.) ● Familiarity with ORMs like Mongoose, Sequelize, or Prisma ● Strong background in authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.) ● Comfortable with Git, pull requests, and code review workflows ● Ability to write modular, reusable, well-documented code ● Experience with DevOps fundamentals, server setup, deployments, and monitoring ● Comfortable collaborating with frontend and mobile teams to align API requirements ● Proficiency with TypeScript ● Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) ● Ability to understand and reason through system diagrams and API schemas Nice to Have ● Deep knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS SQS) ● Advanced caching strategies and performance tuning expertise ● Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines ● Background in startups, SaaS, or high-velocity product environments ● Interest in AI/automation workflows and tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT To apply, send your resume and LinkedIn to nicki@nexxtideas.com.
