Full Description

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Copilot SME to join our client’s team. This is a remote, contract position. SALARY: $100-$125 per hour (depending on experience) Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. Requirements • Prior experience with Microsoft Copilot and tenant readiness assessments • Strong experience running Copilot implementations, ensuring readiness across security, compliance, and data architecture • Experience evaluating SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, and related M365 workloads • Experience designing, reviewing, and validating Microsoft 365 Copilot security and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Entra • Ability to present technical findings and recommendations clearly to senior technical and executive audiences Responsibilities • Assess Microsoft 365 tenants for Copilot readiness across identity, security, compliance, and data architecture • Evaluate M365 workloads to understand content structure, sharing, governance, and access • Analyze collaboration and usage patterns to determine Copilot effectiveness and safety • Identify risks related to oversharing, legacy permissions, unmanaged content, and fragmented information • Produce clear readiness assessments with actionable remediation recommendations • Review and validate security and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, Defender, and Entra • Guide customers on balancing security controls with accessibility for optimal Copilot value • Act as a technical SME for Copilot deployment, configuration, and governance • Support deployment planning, licensing, and readiness validation • Evaluate automation and extensibility options, collaborating on scalable solutions • Lead customer discovery workshops and facilitate structured discussions on readiness, risks, and platform maturity • Present technical findings and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders Nextpath Workforce Solutions NextPath is a strategic talent partner connecting skilled professionals with organizations driving innovation and growth.
