Hiring for AT&T PIM - Technical Project Manager in Location preferred is Reston, VA. However, it may be flexible for good candidates. Role Overview Seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with proven experience delivering AT&T PIM Hunting & Mitigation programs. The successful candidate will have hands-on field hunting expertise on the AT&T network and a track record of managing multiple vendors and field crews. This individual will serve as the central point of contact between our service delivery organization, field resources, and AT&T stakeholders. They will be responsible for owning planning, execution, vendor oversight, reporting, and quality assurance of all PIM hunt & mitigation activities. MUST HAVE: with AT&T PIM Mitigation, Network Optimization, MPiLOT is a must. Hands-on experience with Field PIM Hunting & Mitigation experience is highly preferred. Travel to markets and customer sites may be required. Ability to support urgent escalations and flexible scheduling when required. Key Responsibilities Program Management • Manage the end-to-end delivery of AT&T PIM Hunting & Mitigation projects, ensuring scope, quality, and timelines are met. • Serve as the primary interface with Market Leads, RF engineering, and operations teams. Field & Technical Oversight • Provide technical leadership for field crews conducting PIM detection, localization, mitigation, and validation. • Apply hands-on experience to guide crews on AT&T standards, troubleshooting methods, and mitigation best practices. Vendor & Crew Management • Select, onboard, and manage subcontractor field crews. • Define performance metrics, monitor execution quality, and conduct site audits. • Train vendor partners on AT&T-specific PIM procedures and compliance standards. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical field. • 5–10 years of hands-on PIM hunting & mitigation experience, with direct knowledge of AT&T network requirements and standards. • Proven leadership managing multiple vendors and subcontractor field crews in the telecom industry. • Proficient in use of PIM analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and related RF test equipment. • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, antenna/feeder systems, and typical PIM sources. • Solid program management skills—planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor management and carrier stakeholder reporting. • Strong safety mindset, including tower/rooftop safety and RF exposure compliance. Preferred Qualifications • Prior work with AT&T’s field operations, escalation channels, and PIM reporting tools. • PMP or equivalent project management certification. • Experience with large-scale multi-market PIM mitigation programs. • Familiarity with predictive maintenance or network analytics for interference detection.
