Full Description

A Investment Management Firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Whole Loan Accounting Analyst. Responsibilities: • Prepare funding schedules and compile supporting documentation for loan acquisitions and originations • Verify accuracy of servicer onboarding and transfer dates; reconcile and process monthly whole loan servicer remittance tapes • Collaborate with Middle Office and Operations teams on liquidity management, trade allocations, and settlement processes • Respond to daily inquiries and requests from portfolio managers, loan sellers, and loan servicers • Maintain data integrity by supporting validation of quantitative and qualitative loan characteristics • Provide day-to-day support for repo financing activities and contribute to strategic planning for whole loan portfolio management • Assist with relationship management and onboarding processes for loan servicers, sellers, custodians, repo counterparties, and trustees/calculation agents • Coordinate with custodians and loan sellers to confirm receipt of collateral prior to funding; ensure delivery of trailing documents to custodians • Review servicer notes, monitor delinquencies, and track prepayment protection measures • Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a finance, accounting, or operations-focused role • Proven ability to solve complex problems creatively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to or interest in programming languages such as SQL is a plus • Self-starter with the ability to independently manage and execute projects with limited supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Reference No. 60744
